What we collect
- Account details. Your email address, the name you enter, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Listing content. Everything you put in a listing (business details, photos, logo, hours, services, links) is published on the site once approved. Only publish what you are happy for the public to see.
- Payments. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep a record of which plan was bought for which listing, the amount, and Stripe's reference for it.
- Technical logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To run your account, publish your listing, and send you transactional emails (verification, password resets, listing approved).
- To process and record plan purchases.
- To keep the directory accurate and free of spam.
We do not sell personal information and we do not send marketing email.
Cookies and local storage
When you sign in, a login token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in on this device. Signing out removes it. The admin area uses a session cookie for the same purpose. We do not run advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
- Stripe for card payments.
- Google Maps to show a map of a listing's address.
- YouTube or Vimeo when a listing includes a video. Those players may set their own cookies once played.
Your choices
- Edit your name and password any time from My Profile.
- Edit or unpublish a listing from My Listings. Edits are re-reviewed before they go live.
- To close your account or have data removed, contact the directory and we will do it promptly.
